Bill, as a business owner, has played a big role in supporting local bowling by sponsoring men's and women's teams since 1959. Reel's Alignment Shop has also been lane sponsors for the KBA and KWBA City Tournaments. He even donates items for the Monte Carlo night.
Bill initiated the idea of selling 50/50 tickets during league play to fund the sending of each team in the league to the City Tournament. For the past several years, he has put at least 20 teams from the Union League into the City Tournament. This has contributed significantly to the tournaments growth and enjoyment.
