AT THE TIME OF INDUCTION ON MAY 8, 2004 -- Class of 2004...
SUMMARY
Doug has been one of the top bowlers in Kokomo for many years. His smooth and reliable left-handed delivery has allowed him to capture multiple city tournament titles, three perfect games (11/11/96, 11/12/99, and 04/01/01), and many 700 series.
He also served the Kokomo bowlers by serving on the Kokomo Bowling Association board for six years in the 1990's. He coached Saturday morning youth league one year and the Learn to Bowl program held at each center in the early 1990's. He has also served as a league president for one year. Doug is a great person to be around, on or off the lanes, and he is willing to help other bowlers when they ask for help.
