- She rolled her first 700 series (704) in the Mr. & Mrs. Eagles Tournament in Lafayette. Kathy was able to claim singles and all events championship titles in this tournament.

- Her best finish of this seven-year-old tournament was in the 1997-98 Women's Indiana State Queens Tournament in Hammond where she placed fourth in a field of 90 of Indiana's elite bowlers. Required average is 170 minimum.
- Kathy has taken great pride in participating in the We Care Tournament. She was the top sponsor for this fundraising event in the 1994, 1995, 1996 and 2000 tournaments with totals of funds raised ranging between $1500 and $2000 each year.
