SUMMARY

Tom was a fine bowler that bowled beside Hall of Fame members Tex Thornton and Wayne Kitts to help their teams capture many championships in the 1950's and 1960's. Tom rolled in the lower scoring era before today's astronomical scores. His career highs include a 276 game, which was bowled between 1960 and 1965; also, he has scored a 270 game. Tom's high series is a 756 rolled at the 421 Bowl, Indianapolis, and his career high average is a 191.

Other high scores include at least six 700 series including 756, 711, 708 and at least ten series over 650. Tom was on the team that set the Play Bowl house record in 1959 with a score of 3139. Team members were Francis Fisher, Bill Thompson, Don Lowry, and Cloyd Long.
