SUMMARY
Jack has been a league bowler since 1955 and has bowled in as many as four leagues in a season. Jack has steadily improved his average, but his real contribution is in his dedication to helping others improve and enjoy the sport of bowling. Jack helps both adult and youth bowlers. He is and has been a true ambassador for the sport as he volunteers countless hours in many different capacities.

  • He has been a certified bowling coach for the Saturday youth leagues for approximately 25 years.
  • Was president of the Kokomo Booster club for youth bowlers
  • Was president of the Kokomo Bowling Council
  • Was head coach of youth bowling leagues at Don Lowry Lanes
  • Was head coach for youth traveling league
  • Introduced The Kegler Open (TKO) to several of our youth bowlers and provided transportation for some
  • Participated in Adult/Youth portion of TKO to help youth win scholarships
  • Manager of the Don Lowry Lanes Pro Shop for approximately 15 years
  • Assists customers in finding the “right” equipment for them
  • Assists bowlers on the lanes even after ball purchase
  • Freely gives of his time adjusting ball fit even while bowling in league
  • Many times has plugged and re-drilled donated balls for youth at no cost
  • He has held various bowling league positions including president, vice-president, captain, and secretary-treasurer.
