Brad_Pratt.jpg

Brad joins his mother- Pat Pratt – as a member of our bowling Hall of Fame. This is the 2nd mother-and-son combination in our Hall of Fame - the other pair being Zelpha and Dave Turner.

It’s no wonder that Brad became interested in bowling with Pat being his mother. However, he started bowling much later than you would have expected. He started bowling at the age of 29. He bowled with Pat in several summer leagues including a no-tap league where he averaged over 270. They gave him a plaque for all the no-tap 300’s he bowled.

Finally, Merle Burthay asked Brad to bowl in his first sanctioned league at the age of 31 in the 1994-1995 season. This was in the Union League bowled at Don Lowry Lanes East. That first year he averaged 182 – a pretty good start to a bowling career! He has bowled every year since except for missing the 1998-1999 season when he had elbow surgery following a ripped tendon injury sustained at work.

Since then, he has racked up a nice bowling resume.
