Roscoe has been a sanctioned bowler in Kokomo for nearly 50 years. He was always dependable with any bowling task that was assigned to him and has been an active league secretary in one or more leagues for more that 25 years. He is past president (1972-73), past secretary-treasurer (1978-80), past assistant secretary-treasurer of the Kokomo Bowling Association, and remains active on the KBA Board of Directors. He is a life member of KBA.

Woody has been chairman of the Eagles Bowling committees for many years and is still chairman for the State of Indiana and Kokomo Eagles Aerie #255. During his time at the Eagles, he has been active with bowling tournaments throughout Indiana. He has always shown an interest in promoting good sportsmanship along with donating countless hours to promote bowling in Howard County for the FOE.
