AT THE TIME OF INDUCTION ON MAY 6, 1995 -- Class of 1995...

Dave is a life member and past president of the Kokomo Bowling Association (1986-87). He is serving as secretary-treasurer of the Kokomo Bowling Association and served in that position since 1992. He has been on the KBA Board for over 15 years.

Along with his KBA Championship Tournament titles and numerous league championships...

  • Dave and his sister-in-law Marcia Carpenter was Millers Doubles State Champion in 1983 when he carried a 206 average for the tournament. They advanced to Reno, Nevada, where they placed 28th.
  • Eagles Men State Doubles Champion in 1984 with Bob Sturgeon (1437 hcp)
  • Eagles Men State All Events Champion in 1984 (2043 act - 2143 hcp)
  • Rolled his first 700 series in the 1984 Eagles State Tournament (742) and has had at least one 700 series every year since.
  • Earned a bronze medal at the Wichita, Kansas, site with an 1899 and a silver medal in the doubles with a 715.
  • High Series is 767
  • High Game is 299 bowled at the Hoinke Tournament in Cincinnati, Ohio
  • High Average 201


Dave was also instrumental in the organization of the first Kokomo Bowling Association Hall of Fame induction ceremony. He was also involved with the format and selection process of the first KBA Scholarship Award.
